Purpose of Position
The Flight Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality ground and simulator flight instruction to clients, ensuring they meet the required standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate trainee progress and provide feedback to ensure they achieve their objectives.
- Prepare and maintain accurate training records and reports.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address client training issues.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments.
Requirements
- Unrestricted ATP certificate or ICAO member state Airline Transport Pilot License.
- Minimum of one unrestricted PIC type rating.
- Preferred: FAR Part 135, FAR Part 121, or military training experience.
- Preferred: 2,500 hours of total flight time.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of aviation safety standards and practices.
- Knowledge of common aviation regulations.
- Ability to manage classes and teach effectively.
- First-level facilitation and customer service skills.
- Ability to be coachable and receive feedback to support development.
