FlightSafety operates a large fleet of advanced full-flight simulators and provides award-winning maintenance training at its Learning Centers and training locations.

Purpose of Position

The Scheduling Specialist's primary role is to provide comprehensive scheduling oversight for all FlightSafety internal and external customers, ensuring a superior customer experience. The Scheduling Specialist facilitates coordination of regulatory and operator training requirements between FlightSafety and its customers and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer and client scheduling, including sending confirmations and creating new accounts.
  • Coordinate client training schedules and work with customers on specific training needs and requirements that may impact schedule modifications.
  • Understand regulatory requirements and verify training objectives.
  • Act as a backup focal point for TSA tracking for incoming clients.
  • Perform Export Compliance checks as needed.
  • Verify and collect pre-training documents.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm attendance and training objectives.
  • Manage client retention programs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned programs, interacting and communicating with internal and external customers, as well as regulatory agencies.
  • Familiarize yourself with FlightSafety's products and services, providing customers with additional training opportunities to enhance their experience and generate revenue.
  • Review and understand country-specific guidance and documentation, providing the most up-to-date information to ensure clients, customers, and instructors adhere to all regulatory requirements.
  • Assess, organize, plan, and assign resources for customer training events, instructor training, and qualifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Aviation Management preferred, or three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Achieved a master level of responsibilities as a Scheduling Specialist, Associate, with one to two years of aviation experience preferred.
  • Requires knowledge of aviation industry terminology, FARs, and prerequisites for FlightSafety International courses, as specified by FAA/NAA regulations.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the UK.

  • Fluency in English, through both verbal and written communications; able to speak, understand, read, and write.
  • General knowledge of the following software: MS Office Suite, TMS Systems, CRM.
