Job Title: Relief Nursery Practitioner

About the Role:

As a Relief Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our nursery. You will work closely with our experienced team to provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. Your flexibility and adaptability will be essential in ensuring the smooth running of the nursery, particularly during periods of high demand or staff absence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years
  • Support the daily operations of the nursery, including meal times, sleep times, and activities
  • Work closely with the nursery team to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the nursery meets the highest standards of care and education
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with young children in a nursery setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • DBS clearance
