Production Planner Opportunity

We are seeking a meticulous Production Planner to join our team at Tech Connect Group.

This role will be responsible for daily and weekly planning within our Farnborough facility, maintaining and leveling a rolling 6-week production plan.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated working skills, knowledge, and experience of planning management and quality control principles, as well as strong IT system use, including Excel and Word skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and leveling a rolling 6-week production plan
  • Job profiling and accurate management of manufacturing orders through all levels of the Bill of Material (BOM)
  • Closing liaison with the Demand team to ensure Sales Order 'ship by dates' are updated and in line with the jobs
  • Following the SIOP planning cycle
  • Working with Material Control in the event of a critical supply shortage/build stop risk
  • Ensuring that no demand is executed outside of the production plan
  • Escalation of perceived risk and actual non-conformities in real-time
