**Role: Production Planner**
**Location: Farnborough**
**Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Benefits**

**The responsibilities of the Production Planner are as follows**:

- Produce and own an achievable production plan; to ensure availability of materials, Operational Capacity and adherence to customer requirements are met.
- Set Rough Cut Capacity Plans for designated business areas.
- Smooth daily release of work orders to the Stores function.
- Manage the sub-con process to support Production plans.
- Support and develop a lean planning and logistics function within the business.
- Support route cause and corrective actions for shortages or material issues
- Support Operations and procurement in OTIF targets
- Responsibility for inventory levels across the business and supporting the inventory reduction programme.

**The successful Production Planner will have the following skills/experience**:

- Previous proven experience in a similar role
- MRP understanding and experience.
- Capacity planning experience.
- Lean experience is beneficial
- Experienced Microsoft Excel user.
- Inventory control and analysis.
- Supplier interaction / expediting experience.
