About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Procurement team as a Procurement Assistant. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assisting the Procurement team on multiple residential construction schemes across London and Northern Home Counties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating prices with suppliers to ensure best value for money
  • Preparing tender packs and conducting tender analysis
  • Participating in the implementation of the Materials procurement strategy
  • Developing the regional supply chain to meet business demands
  • Providing market competitive and innovative procurement solutions
  • Procuring materials within budgets and on time to progress works on site
  • Identifying potential new suppliers and monitoring the supply chain
  • Resolving disputes and account queries between suppliers and the company

Requirements:

  • Construction qualification or 1-2 years of Buying/Construction experience
  • A Level/College standard or equivalent
  • Keen desire to work in the construction industry
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, and drive to develop a career in Procurement
  • Ability to drive to the office
