About the Role:

As a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant at SENDhelp Limited, you will play a vital role in supporting children with a range of special educational needs. Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one and group support to pupils with ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD, and SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to students with special educational needs, adapting materials and activities to meet their individual needs.
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create a holistic support system that promotes each child's development.
  • Help manage classroom behavior, using positive reinforcement and restorative practices to create a calm and productive learning environment.
  • Support pupils with personal care and mobility, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and valued at all times.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and staff, contributing to a close-knit community that values diversity and inclusion.
