Theatre Scrub Team Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Scrub Team Leader to join our team at Darlington Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our Theatre team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement work plans to achieve departmental objectives, taking into account the abilities and developmental needs of multidisciplinary team members.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to team members to improve performance and maintain high standards of care.
  • Monitor and audit documentation to ensure compliance with Trust policy and NMC/HCPC guidelines.
  • Assess care needs, develop programmes of care, and implement and evaluate these programmes for adult and paediatric patients undergoing routine and emergency surgery.
Requirements
  • Existing experience as a scrub practitioner.
  • Registered with NMC or HCPC.
