Job Title: Marketing Solutions Architect

Aveva is a global leader in industrial software, and we're seeking a Marketing Solutions Architect to play a key role in optimizing business and technology change within our marketing function.

Responsibilities:
  • Interpret Business Needs: Translate marketing business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives.
  • Assess Technology: Monitor the current-state solution portfolio in the marketing function to identify deficiencies and misalignment with business requirements.
  • Apply Technology: Lead evaluation, design, and analysis for the implementation of a solutions architecture across a group of specific marketing and associated business applications or technologies.
  • Provide deliverables like high-level design and low-level designs against Aveva's standard definitions, reference models, and architecture designs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, system analysis, or a related study, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in an IT solution development discipline.
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments, specifically around marketing technologies.
  • Good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends and the practical application of existing and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models.
  • Good understanding of product management, agile principles, and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams.
  • Experience working in a relevant industry is helpful, but not required.
  • Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps.
  • Experience delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences.
  • Experience of design and solutioning of Marketo is essential.
  • Broad experience of marketing tools such as Adobe AEM, Creative Cloud, Merdiavalet, and other smaller applications.
  • Good understanding of various database technologies.
  • Data savvy with knowledge of various aspects of a technology architecture like integration, network, and security.
  • Proven analytical, planning, organizational, and technical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with developers.
