Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Deputy General Manager to join our team at Woodbury Park. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the facility, collaborating with departmental managers, and driving sales and membership growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the management of the facility, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional member experiences.
    • Collaborate closely with departmental managers to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
  • Financial Management
    • Ensure the delivery of overall financial objectives, including revenue growth and cost control.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase membership subscriptions and drive sales.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Uphold brand standards and promote a positive company culture.
    • Support the delivery of capital projects and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
    • Foster productive and harmonious relations with all colleagues.
    • Deliver high service standards in line with member expectations and serve as a positive ambassador for the company.

Requirements

  • Three years of experience in management or a supervisory position in a leisure facility, golf resort, or hotel.
  • Polished leadership and coaching skills, with a proven track record of driving sales and growth.
  • Hands-on management style, with a focus on delivering exceptional member experiences.
  • Ability to live or relocate to the Exeter area in Devon.
