University of the Arts London (UAL) is seeking a part-time Lecturer in Contextual and Theoretical Studies to join our vibrant and research-focused team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with course teams to deliver Contextual and Theoretical Studies in an embedded framework, deploying specialist expertise to develop pedagogy and curriculum.
  • Develop and teach units, as well as undertake ongoing scholarship within a programme.
  • Provide pastoral support to students and work collaboratively with UG course leaders and lecturers, administrative and academic support staff.
  • Contribute to the development of the CTS curriculum, interconnecting theory and practice across different design disciplines.
About the Role

This exciting opportunity offers a chance to take an active role in shaping the CTS curriculum, working closely with a dynamic team to deliver high-quality teaching and research.

As a Lecturer in Contextual and Theoretical Studies, you will be responsible for delivering specialist expertise to develop pedagogy and curriculum, as well as contributing to the development of the CTS curriculum.

Reporting to the CTS Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with UG course leaders and lecturers, administrative and academic support staff to deliver high-quality teaching and research.
