Job Title: Warehousing Tutor

Are you passionate about education and rehabilitation? Do you have a knack for teaching and motivating others? We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehousing Tutor to join our team at a prison education facility.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, working 16 hours per week (2 days) with a salary scale of £12,799 per annum. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to learners, focusing on Warehousing skills up to Level 2. Your duties will include:

  • Creating and delivering comprehensive lesson plans to meet the training needs of the group.
  • Identifying individual learning needs and developing personalized learning plans.
  • Actively engaging with learners to increase retention and motivation.
  • Reviewing and improving curriculum content based on feedback and learner progress.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Degree or professional qualification relevant to the work.
  • Have a Teaching Qualification or be willing to gain one within the first two years of service.
  • Have knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies.
  • Exhibit excellent team working, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Clearance Requirements:

The successful candidate will be required to obtain the appropriate prison clearance before starting the role and maintain this throughout employment.
