Senior Community Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Community Social Worker to join our Community Social Work Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting practitioners working with vulnerable children, young people, and their families to understand risk and harm and promote clarity where the level of risk is unclear.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance and support to community practitioners to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively support children and families.
- Work closely with the Early Help Partnership to improve outcomes for children and young people not currently open to Children's Social Care and prevent their needs from escalating unnecessarily.
- Develop and deliver training on different aspects of safeguarding and other relevant topics to support the development of our social care teams.
- Contribute to the development of our Social Work Academy and other initiatives to support the growth and development of our social care workforce.
- Social Work England registration
- A recognised qualification in Social Work
- At least 3 years of experience as a frontline Social Worker
- A full driving licence and willingness to drive
- DBS clearance
