Senior Community Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Community Social Worker to join our Community Social Work Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our social care teams and the Early Help Partnership to ensure that vulnerable children, young people, and their families receive the best possible support.
Key Responsibilities- Support practitioners in understanding risk and harm, and promote clarity where the level of risk is unclear.
- Involve with Early Help to improve outcomes for children and young people not currently open to Children's Social Care and prevent their needs from escalating unnecessarily.
- Deliver training on different aspects of safeguarding and other relevant topics.
- Work closely with the Community Social Work Team to develop and deliver practitioner training in partnership with the Gloucestershire Children's Safeguarding Partnership and Health professionals.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Social Worker who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. You will have a recognised qualification in Social Work, be registered with Social Work England, and have passed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE). You will also have a full driving licence and be willing to drive.
