About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Giorgio Armani. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team towards the store's profitability and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Performance Analysis: Analyze sales and performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to the Store Manager.
  • Team Development and Training: Train and empower the store team to deliver exceptional performance in all areas of responsibility, including product skills, customer service, CRM, visual merchandising, remote sales, and shop floor sales.
  • Staff Management and Administration: Ensure all team payroll changes are communicated to HR, support the Store Manager in effectively managing the staff rota, and assist with administrative responsibilities such as sales reports, petty cash, shipping records, vendor records, and HR records.
  • Customer Relationships and Loyalty: Build and maintain relationships with customers and actively engage in building customer loyalty.
  • Team Recruitment and Onboarding: Support the Store Manager in team recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
  • Stock Management and Delivery: Oversee the delivery of goods to ensure timely and efficient stock management.
  • Employee Development and Support: Support career growth by identifying potential paths and encouraging professional development, while continuously reviewing team performance and addressing employee concerns, conflicts, and issues with a supportive and empathetic approach.
