Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced neonatal nurse to join our transport team as a Band 6 nurse. As a member of our team, you will provide direct clinical care to infants requiring emergency and elective transfer, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective delivery of the service.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills in stabilising and transferring some of the sickest neonates within a small team. You will also develop and deliver outreach learning to our service users across the region, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide expert critical care to neonates and children up to the age of 16 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical care to infants requiring emergency and elective transfer
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective delivery of the service
  • Develop and deliver outreach learning to our service users across the region
  • Participate in governance processes to develop and measure the quality of the service
