Position Summary

The primary objective of this role is to serve as the Business Administrator for the newly implemented electronic quality management system (Veeva). The individual in this position will collaborate with the Global Subsystem Owner Community within the manufacturing and supply chain, third-party implementation partners, and the IT System Administrator to provide system-related guidance and support for all facets of the Veeva-related business operations.

Additionally, there may be a need for broader system administration support to ensure the effective integration of the EQMS with other systems for compliance and standardized practices.

This position offers remote work flexibility, with occasional travel required to the global headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Acting as the primary liaison for all business process-related matters concerning Veeva Vault Quality between Dechra's business units, the IT department, and Veeva System Administrators.
  • Providing assistance to business end-users and the Vault Quality Global Subsystem Owner.
  • Executing business administrative functions within the system to support the IT System Administrator.
  • Ensuring that Veeva and other pertinent systems comply with necessary regulatory and Dechra governance standards, adhering to GxP Quality processes.
  • Participating in Change Advisory Board meetings or other relevant stakeholder groups as necessary.
  • Supporting the following processes for the Veeva System and Vaults:
    • Change & Release Management
    • Periodic System and Vault Review
  • Collaborating with third-party implementation partners and Dechra's business units to develop and execute plans for the successful migration of all business-related documents and data into the Veeva system.
  • Coordinating deployment packages for new sites implementing Veeva Vault Quality, including preparation checklists, role assignments, estimated timelines, equipment needs, and support through Veeva Platform in Teams and TopDesk.
  • Creating and updating training materials with input from the Global Subsystem Owner and assisting in training and communication initiatives.

  • A background in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Current knowledge and experience with technology and IT tools.
  • The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on new process initiatives and improvements.
  • Experience in process enhancement.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • ITIL certification is advantageous but not required.
  • A Veeva Vault Administrator Certificate is preferred but not essential.
