Depot Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Depot Operations Supervisor to join our team at Certas Energy UK Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our Lerwick depot, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of fuel and other products.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the activities of depot staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Fuel Management: Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of fuel and other products, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing losses.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing HSE policies and procedures, and conducting regular risk assessments.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of depot staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in the fuel distribution industry, with a strong understanding of operational processes and procedures.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of fuel handling and storage, including HSE regulations and industry standards.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions, with a focus on minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
