About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join our team at TEXO Recruitment. This is a full-time, permanent role with a rotational schedule of 3 weeks on, 1 week off, working approximately 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week. The company will cover flights, accommodation, and mob/demob fees (£125 each).

Our client has provided high-quality engineering solutions to industries such as Oil & Gas, Marine, and Renewables for over 30 years. With a prime quayside location, the company operates one of the largest fabrication workshops in the area, delivering a reliable service to clients across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with Project Engineers and delegate tasks to shop floor employees
  2. Manage shop floor and site teams, troubleshooting and resolving work-related issues
  3. Monitor and track project progress, ensuring timely completion and quality standards
  4. Ensure Health and Safety compliance and manage consumables
Requirements
  1. Time-served in the welding and fabrication industry with a minimum of 5 years' experience
  2. Proven leadership skills, able to organise and motivate teams
  3. Capable of reading and working to fabrication drawings
  4. Holds a full UK driving licence
