Dietitian Prescriber

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Dietitian to join our established Prescribing Support Dietetic Team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work closely with the Medicines Optimisation Team, GPs, and Practice staff across Primary Care Networks to ensure effective prescription of oral nutritional supplements and promote a Food First approach.

• Provide clinical input, training, and service evaluation to support patients in the community living in their own homes and care homes.
• Work closely with Dietetic Support Workers and train Student Dietitians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with the Medicines Optimisation Team to review and develop prescribable nutritional products.
• Contribute to the development of the Dietetic Prescribing Support Team and participate in service improvement initiatives.

• Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Passion for working in nutrition support and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
