Job Summary

An exciting opportunity is available to join the leadership team of Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust as a Clinical Dietetics Leadership Position for Primary Care and Mental Health.

We are seeking a leader with proven strategic and operational management, service development, and clinical leadership skills to drive forward the future delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Primary Care and Mental Health team, covering outpatients and community hospital inpatients, and our newly developed dietetics prescribing team.
  • Represent LNDS on Trust groups and committees, and county-wide meetings, including meetings with commissioners across Local Authorities and the Health and Social Care community.
  • Develop and implement strategies for service improvement and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve clinical and operational excellence.
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the team.
Requirements
  • First or Post Graduate Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics or similar UK Registered Dietitian with HCPC.
  • Specialist short courses up to Masters degree level (Advanced Clinical Supervisory Course, Behaviour Change Programmes).
  • Member of the British Dietetic Association.
  • Management qualification or evidence of management development experience and/or short courses.
  • Teaching and education qualification.
  • Attendance on an advanced clinical supervisory skills course (Masters level).
  • Diploma in Advanced Dietetic Practice.
