About the Role

We are seeking an Undergraduate Intern to join our Modelling & Simulation Team in Southampton. As a key member of our Research & Development function, you will be responsible for supporting live projects by using simulation and modelling for concept evaluation, insights generation, and design optimisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop tools and processes to make simulation more accessible to the wider business
  • Analysis and reporting of simulation data to support decision-making
  • Supporting experimental campaigns for simulation validation and verification purposes
Requirements
  • Students working towards an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related subject
  • Scientific curiosity and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate with specialist and non-specialist audiences
  • Problem solving skills
  • Eagerness to learn from technical experts from a broad range of topics
