Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned SCOM expert to join our team as an Observability Engineer and help us build a robust and efficient monitoring infrastructure at InterQuest Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain SCOM monitoring strategies and tools to ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system operation.
- Analyze and troubleshoot system issues using SCOM to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive SCOM dashboards and alerts to provide real-time system insights.
- Automate routine tasks using SCOM to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing and optimizing large-scale SCOM environments with a strong focus on system reliability and performance.
- Strong technical skills in SCOM and related monitoring tools, including Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Expertise in scripting languages like Python and PowerShell for automation and system integration.
- Understanding of cloud environments and infrastructure automation to ensure seamless system operation.
- Experience integrating SCOM with data sources and other IT tools to provide comprehensive system insights.
- Familiarity with supporting tools like SquaredUp, SCORCH, and xMatters to enhance system performance and reliability.
