Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Automotive Delivery Specialist to join our team at Steer Automotive Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in delivering and collecting vehicles, ensuring smooth operations and an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Transportation: Safely and efficiently collect and deliver vehicles between customers, insurance companies, and our bodyshop.
- Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre-delivery and post-collection inspections to ensure vehicles are in good condition.
- Customer Communication: Communicate professionally with customers, ensuring a positive representation of our company at all times.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks on our delivery fleet.
- Team Support: Assist with moving vehicles around the site and provide general support to the team when required.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary paperwork and use handheld devices to update job statuses.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid UK driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Age Requirement: Be at least 21 years old due to insurance purposes.
- Previous Experience: Have previous experience in a driving or delivery role (preferably within the automotive industry, but not essential).
- Time Management: Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Communication Skills: Possess the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Flexibility: Display a flexible and positive attitude with a willingness to assist where needed.
