HGV/LGV Class 1 Driver

Job Summary:

Menzies Distribution Limited is seeking a skilled HGV/LGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in a key role that requires excellent driving skills and a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Class 1 vehicle to deliver and collect products on behalf of our clients and their customers.
  • Operate electronic POD and up-to-date technology to ensure efficient and accurate delivery and collection processes.
  • Assist with loading and unloading products from vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with current legal and best practice regulations, including drivers' hours and WTD regulations.

Requirements:

  • A valid full UK C+E licence.
  • At least 12 months of previous Class 1 driving experience.
  • Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
  • No more than 6 points on your driving licence.
  • No previous disqualifications.
