Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at TE Connectivity. As a key member of our Manufacturing Engineering team, you will be responsible for implementing automation and semi-automation projects to improve productivity and drive growth across the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop manufacturing processes and automation platforms to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new equipment into production.
  • Support the Manufacturing Engineering team with knowledge and experience in automation technologies and create clear business case justifications for investment.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve productivity.
  • Stay up-to-date with technical developments and review manufacturing methods to identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • HNC or Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in manufacturing engineering and automation.
  • Practical knowledge of assembly techniques and a background in manufacturing engineering.
  • Previous experience working with automation technologies and SAP.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Financial understanding and experience building CAPEX project justifications.
  • Experience creating RFQs and working with suppliers to deliver key investment projects.
