About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Nurture group setting. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMH) or Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

As a Teaching Assistant in this role, you will be responsible for supporting pupils across the secondary curriculum on a long-term basis. You will work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each pupil.

About You
  • Qualified Teaching Assistant with experience of working with young people with EBD or SEMH
  • Able to hold student attention and focus with excellent communication skills
  • Promote happiness, independence, and an enjoyment of learning
  • Effective behaviour management and support skills
  • Familiar working in a nurture environment
  • Experienced with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils
