Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join our team at Cooper Lomaz Recruitment. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the HR Manager to ensure smooth and effective HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with managers and employees, providing credible HR advice and guidance on various people-related issues.
  • Manage the full scope of employee relations (ER) matters, including absence management, performance issues, disciplinaries, grievances, and flexible working requests.
  • Advise on occupational health referrals and manage return-to-work cases.
  • Prepare contracts of employment and other HR-related documentation.
  • Organise and attend informal and formal meetings, ensuring accurate documentation and note-taking.
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures, as well as the company handbook.
  • Support and occasionally deputise for the HR Manager, while also assisting in mentoring the HR team.
  • Regularly produce and analyse HR data to identify trends and propose solutions.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including holidays, absences, and training.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HR operations and employee relations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
