Home Support Matters is seeking a dedicated individual to represent our organization.

As a key recruiter, you will be the initial point of contact for potential candidates interested in joining our team.

Your role will involve passionately discussing our unique offerings and benefits, setting us apart from other employers.

This position operates Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week. The role involves engaging with various job fairs and employment centers across the region. You will oversee the entire onboarding process for new employees, fostering and maintaining relationships with prospective candidates and employment advisors to highlight Home Support Matters as a preferred employer in the healthcare industry. Additionally, you will manage a busy workload with numerous tasks within a structured onboarding framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, modify, and promote job vacancies across job boards, social media platforms, and the company website.
  • Proactively organize and participate in job fairs and recruitment events, encouraging job seekers to consider us as their employer of choice in the healthcare sector.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with job centers, employment advisors, and related services.
  • Review and assess CVs and applications, maintaining a recruitment pipeline through our applicant tracking system.
  • Conduct interviews, manage DBS documentation, and request references.
  • Verify right-to-work compliance for candidates and compile onboarding documentation for their employment.
  • Collaborate with the training team to ensure effective communication of induction and onboarding statistics.
  • Prepare timely reports on recruitment activities and present updates at weekly meetings with management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer engagement.
  • At least one year of prior recruitment experience.
  • Strong administrative skills are crucial; candidates should have experience in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Proficiency in social media.
  • A valid driving license and personal transportation.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Health and Social Care sector.
  • Experience in high-volume and fast-paced recruitment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
