Maintenance Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Four Seasons Health Care. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our care homes and surrounding grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our care homes and grounds, including plumbing, joinery, and general building repairs.
  • Ensure the smooth operation and serviceability of all services, including heating, lighting, and non-medical equipment.
  • Maintain the exterior of our care homes, including pathways, driveways, and external lighting.
  • Identify and report any maintenance defects and ensure compliance with essential checks.
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders to ensure all allocated tasks are carried out effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide out-of-hours emergency service by participating in the on-call rota and providing temporary cover for sister homes.
  • Assist with fire and water risk assessments and reviews.
Requirements:
