Job Title: Civil Engineer Apprentice

Thames Water is seeking a talented Civil Engineer Apprentice to join their industry-leading Civil Engineering team. As a Civil Engineer Apprentice, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's future in AMP8 and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate root causes of problems in the wastewater network.
  • Liaise with other engineering disciplines to ensure civil engineering design meets their needs.
  • Provide civil engineering input into asset surveys, plant condition assessments, feasibility studies, whole-life costing, and preliminary designs.
Requirements:
  • Education to degree level or other appropriate technical qualification in Civil Engineering.
  • Post-qualification experience as a civil engineer designing drainage networks, pump stations, and pipelines.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment to achieve compliance with engineering regulatory requirements.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary from £40,000 to £50,000 per annum.
  • 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with length of service.
  • Contributory pension with maximum of 12% employee contribution.
