Exciting Opportunity for a Junior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Junior Civil Engineer to join our team at Strata Construction Consulting in Oxfordshire. As a junior member of our design consultancy, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from infrastructure development to transport planning and hydrology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the production of designs and drawings for construction projects
  • Deliver technical reports for master planning and support planning applications
  • Contribute to the delivery of concept studies and strategies
  • Use software such as GIS, AutoCAD, and Site3D to produce designs and reports
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of design codes such as DMRB, Local Authority Highway and Water Authority Design Guides
  • Experience in producing Flood Risk assessments and surface water drainage strategies
  • Ability to use Windes drainage software and PDS or Civils 3D modelling
  • Sound understanding and interpretation of flood risk policy and legislation
