About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Digital Skills Tutor to join our team at the Vale of Glamorgan Council. As a Digital Skills Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to adults in various settings, including community centers, libraries, and online platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging and interactive training sessions on digital skills, employability, and confidence-building.
  • Assess and evaluate learner progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement training programs that meet the needs of adult learners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in digital skills training.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative and creative learning materials and resources.

Requirements

  • Relevant teaching qualification or currently completing a teaching qualification.
  • Experience of teaching or training adults, preferably in a vocational or digital skills context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate adult learners.
  • Confidence in delivering learning using digital technology and a willingness to adapt to new tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and locations.
