Role Overview

As a key member of our Land & Planning department, you will play a crucial role in delivering social value and employment and skills projects across a portfolio of large-scale, mixed-use, mixed-tenure West London regeneration schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver project-specific social value programmes in consultation with partners, communities, and stakeholders.
  • Support project-specific Community Boards and the allocation of project-level Community-Chest funding.

Requirements

  • Experience in development or regeneration sector – developer, housebuilder, local authority, housing association.
  • Experience of working within a regeneration, development, community liaison, or resident liaison role.
  • Knowledge of development and construction process.
  • Estate regeneration working with a range of stakeholders.
  • Chairing stakeholder meetings.
  • Presenting to community groups.
  • Effective and highly competent communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating events and projects – ensuring these run to budget and time.
  • Ability to collate and present information into a report.
  • Business engagement.
  • Experience of Social Value delivery.
  • Experience of section 106 employment and skills delivery.
  • Sourcing/promoting apprenticeships placements.
  • Local Labour reporting.
  • Ability to work in large teams with multiple stakeholders.
  • Communication skills at all levels of community and stakeholders – written and verbal.
  • Empathetic with experience in dealing sensitively with stakeholders.
  • Personable with ability to build relationships.
