About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Social Value Manager to join our team at Multiplex. As a pioneering construction business, we design and build complex, iconic, and sustainable structures that add to the economic, cultural, and community life in the areas we operate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support project teams in managing, measuring, and reporting on social value, including employability, community and neighbourhood engagement, ethical labour, local procurement, and other aspects.
  • Manage interfaces and relationships with the supply chain, project team, and local stakeholders, including councils, community groups, schools, colleges, and universities.
  • Work with project teams to deliver on social value and community commitments and contractual obligations in line with specific project and corporate requirements.
  • Act as the main point of contact for community activities and provide education and support to project teams on delivering social value successfully.
  • Contribute to annual social value reporting and ensure it is completed in a timely fashion.
  • Measure and calculate the social return of investment in projects.
  • Develop external partnerships to support target deliverables.

Requirements

  • Experience of community engagement within the construction industry.
  • Experience of managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience of event management.
  • IT literate – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal language skills.
  • Team player.
