Occupational Therapist Paediatric Specialist

About the Role
The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team of paediatric Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists. This is a part-time role, working with children aged 0-19 years with a range of neurological, genetic, and developmental conditions.
Main Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work within our Special Schools team, assessing and treating children aged 5-19. You will hold your own caseload of children and be expected to manage this autonomously. You will be expected to delegate effectively to all junior staff and coordinate the day-to-day running of the service, including reallocating staff when needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy from a recognised awarding body, such as the Royal Society of Occupational Therapy. You will also need to be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and have a comprehensive understanding of the diverse needs of children and young people.
