About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to join our team at Pulsant Ltd. As a key member of our data centre operations team, you will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and operation of all electrical and mechanical systems across our data centre site.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Management and Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of all electrical and mechanical systems, including HVAC, UPS, generators, and fire prevention systems.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to the team as required, including small project works and contractor supervision.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a duty of care for everyone on site, reporting any health and safety concerns or potential hazards to management.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure that all records and databases are up to date, and that related reports and checks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Stock Control and Store Management: Maintain stock control of Pulsant assets and store management, including critical spares for the data centre.
Requirements
  • Time Served Electrical Engineer: Hold a current 18th Edition certification and have experience in electrical engineering, including HVAC systems, UPS circuitry, generators, BMS systems, and fire prevention systems.
  • Mechanical Experience: While not essential, mechanical experience would be advantageous.
