Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiography, with a proven track record of leadership and management experience. You will be responsible for organizing and managing the daily list of patients, working closely with the Superintendent to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

You will also have the opportunity to develop and enhance your Plain Film clinical techniques, as well as enrich your leadership skills. Our department prioritizes career development, and we actively encourage and support staff in their career progression.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • BSc(Hons) Radiography, DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent
  • Health Professions Council Registration
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to cope with work pressures and manage time effectively
  • Ability to cope with conflict and complaints at local level commensurate with Trust policies
  • Ability to make prompt decisions based on knowledge, experience, and circumstances
  • Ability to work using own initiative but also to know when to seek assistance and guidance
  • Basic computer and keyboard skills
