Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our team of experts in achieving business objectives. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of productivity and process improvements, with strong financial and business-related experience.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing EHS, Engineering, Quality, Production, Procurement, and Logistics to ensure all activities operate effectively and in compliance with legal and contractual obligations. This includes working within ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing Operations in a low volume, engineering, or manufacturing industry, with a sound understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering. They will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan and organise effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 4 expert Managers to meet business objectives
  • Manage EHS, Engineering, Quality, Production, Procurement, and Logistics
  • Define business unit specific performance KPIs to monitor operational success
  • Support implementation actions and instigate projects for continual improvement and productivity
  • Carry out appraisals, reviews, and produce training and development plans
