Job Summary

Salary: NJC 6-7 £23,893 - £24,294 FTE - Actual Salary £20,459 - £20,802] + well-being cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits.
Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time).
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st Aug 2025.
Start date: October 2024.

We are seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to join our supportive team at North Ormesby, in Middlesbrough, on a fixed term basis.

The successful candidate will be able to:

* Improve the learning and attainment of students while also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
* Support students so that they can; access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Motivation and enthusiasm
* Understanding of pupil's learning needs, including specific SEND needs, in order to support their access to lesson content.
* The skills to help students to develop independent learning skills.
* Ability to deliver individual and small group targeted interventions.
