Role Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Specialist at Aegon, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional telephone-based assistance to both new and existing customers. You will empower clients with the information they need to make informed financial decisions regarding their pensions, whether they are approaching retirement or managing their plans thereafter.

You will be tasked with:

  • Educating customers about various options, associated risks, and benefits.
  • Addressing technical inquiries to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Ensuring a top-tier customer experience on every interaction.
  • Effectively managing a demanding workload while adhering to regulatory standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Outstanding customer service capabilities within a financial services context.
  • Fundamental knowledge of pension products.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to build collaborative relationships with customers.
  • Experience working effectively within a team and across departments to enhance customer referrals.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to take charge of situations.
  • A solid understanding of various tax implications related to pensions and investments.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
