About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Activate Learning. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with learning disabilities and/or disabilities, providing individualized support to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to students with learning disabilities and/or disabilities, including those with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with tutors to ensure the delivery of an effective program of further education
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the needs of students
  • Provide personal care and support to students, including medical care and support
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with students with complex needs
  • Experience of working in an FE environment (desirable)
  • Level 3 Support Assistant qualification or equivalent (desirable)
