About You:

Job Role:

You will be responsible for carrying out routine scheduled cleaning and general housekeeping and laundry tasks to ensure a high standard of cleanliness within the home. You will also engage with residents sensitively and with dignity, demonstrating an understanding of the home environment.

The Service:

St Georges Nursing Home in Witham provides residential and nursing care, specializing in high dependency, intermediate, and long-term palliative care and end-of-life care. Our philosophy is to provide our residents with a relaxed and comfortable home in which their nursing care needs, well-being, and choice are of prime importance.

Requirements:

  • Ability to Work Flexibly: You will need to be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Team Player: You will need to be a team player, motivated, enthusiastic, and able to build positive relationships.
  • Excellent Listening and Communication Skills: You will need to have excellent listening and communication skills to engage with residents sensitively and with dignity.
  • Good Standard of Written, Verbal, and Numeracy Skills: You will need to have a good standard of written, verbal, and numeracy skills to carry out routine tasks and communicate effectively.
  • Good Basic IT Skills: You will need to have good basic IT skills to use our systems and equipment.
