Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Property Survey Program Manager to lead our surveying efforts, which include stock condition evaluations and structural assessments. This role is crucial for informing our housing evaluations and directing our maintenance strategies. Additionally, we are collecting further data to improve our understanding of the structural integrity of our high-rise buildings. This is a newly created position within the team, providing an opportunity for the right candidate to mold it according to their expertise and vision.

You will be an integral part of the Asset Strategy Team, responsible for crafting a long-term housing investment strategy and identifying properties for essential renovations. Our team operates in alignment with the cultural and behavioral standards of Bristol City Council, where:

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience and proficiency in procurement and contract management within a surveying or operational context.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety regulations to guarantee safety during operations.
  • Capability to design and implement a quality assurance framework for accurate results.
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are required for this role, as full-time remote work is not feasible.
  • Demonstrated alignment with the aforementioned values and behaviors.
