As a key member of the transport team, you will contribute significantly to achieving departmental goals by delivering a high-quality, punctual, and friendly service between depots.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with all driving regulations for operating an LGV vehicle, adhering to Health and Safety protocols while ensuring the safety of yourself and others.
- Maintain compliance with food safety and chill chain standards, ensuring that refrigeration is set to the appropriate temperature for the task.
- Keep your vehicle in a safe and clean state by performing all necessary safety checks, documenting any defects, and ensuring that the correct paperwork accompanies each trunk.
- Fully engage in the driver debrief process and be prepared to undertake additional tasks as required, such as multi-drop deliveries and yard duties.
Working Hours:
40 hours per week, which may include Saturdays and public holidays.
Overtime opportunities available.
A valid LGV Class 1 driving licence is essential. Applications from newly qualified drivers are encouraged.
