About the Role

We are seeking a skilled LGV Class 2 Driver to join our team at Booker Group. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering products to our customers, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products to customers, intact, on time, and in full, adhering to delivery schedules.
  • Complete documentation, such as delivery notes, credits, and collections, accurately and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all driving legislation and working time regulations, prioritizing road safety and compliance.
  • Follow health and safety procedures, taking responsibility for your own and others' well-being.
  • Ensure LGV vehicles are maintained and safe, performing regular safety checks and recording defects.
  • Collect empty equipment from customers, promoting efficient logistics and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in the driver debrief procedure and undertake additional duties as directed by the Shift Management team.
Requirements
  • Hold a current LGV Class 2 driving license and a valid CPC card.
  • Be able to work 48 hours per week, including Saturdays and public holidays, with potential overtime available.
