Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to join our team at JCB. As a Senior Buyer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing global category strategies to support our manufacturing operations in the UK, India, USA, China, and Brazil.

Your focus will include:

  • Developing and implementing global category strategies to support our manufacturing operations
  • Engaging and negotiating with suppliers globally to optimise value
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders, particularly Product Development Engineers, to identify, evaluate, and adopt new technologies
About You

You will bring a unique blend of interpersonal and analytical skills, allowing you to successfully negotiate and influence internal stakeholders and suppliers.

You are results-driven and take ownership of projects, striving to achieve success.

You consider different perspectives to comprehensively define business requirements and develop creative strategies to achieve these.

You have a can-do attitude and are resilient and adaptable, essential in a fast-moving environment.
