We are thrilled to announce an opening for a seasoned Group Senior Credit Controller to join our Finance team at our headquarters.

Position Overview

The primary objective of this newly established role is to effectively manage and reduce overdue debts. We strive to accomplish this by adopting best practices and maintaining a disciplined approach to debt collection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively reach out to brokers as payment deadlines approach to confirm timely payments.
  • Engage directly with clients to recover overdue payments.
  • Oversee the management of global debtors to minimize overdue accounts.
  • Ensure adherence to the company's credit policies.
  • Collaborate with the legal department when debts become overdue and payment commitments are not fulfilled.
  • Generate weekly management information reports.
  • Conduct training sessions for brokers as necessary.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of Credit Controllers.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in a sales-driven environment managing debt collection across various regions.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Capability to influence both internal brokers and external clients.
  • Strong resilience and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
