We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at Carousel Consultancy Ltd. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for advising small and medium-sized businesses and entrepreneurs on corporate and business taxes, as well as providing a professional and personable service to all clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising on corporate and business taxes, including R&D, EIS, EMI share option schemes, sales and reconstructions, and the extraction of profits
  • Advising on private client matters, including estate planning, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, property matters, and pensions
  • Providing a professional, personable, and approachable service to all clients
  • Regular liaison with all clients, building solid and long-lasting relationships
  • Responding to queries and ensuring they are resolved promptly and professionally
  • Researching and supporting new business opportunities
  • Maintaining all client records
  • Supporting members of the accounts team as required
Requirements:
  • Relevant accounting qualifications or QBE (ATT, ACA, or ACCA)
  • Experienced, 'hands-on' Tax Accountant
  • Experience working in a busy, fast-paced accountancy practice
  • Experience with a variety of billing methods
  • Exceptional knowledge of corporate and business tax
  • Strong knowledge of trusts, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and pensions
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster excellent relationships with clients
  • IT literate with experience using relevant accountancy software
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
  • Collaborative, professional, and proactive nature
  • Commercially focused and eager to grow the role/business
  • Happy to work in an office-based role
