Senior Tax Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at Carousel Consultancy Ltd. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for providing expert taxation advice to small and medium-sized businesses and entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising on corporate and business taxes, including R&D, EIS, EMI share option schemes, sales and reconstructions, and the extraction of profits.
  • Providing expert advice on private client matters, including estate planning, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, property matters, and pensions.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through regular liaison and communication.
  • Researching and supporting new business opportunities.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.
  • Supporting members of the accounts team as required.
Requirements:
  • Relevant accounting qualifications or QBE (ATT, ACA, or ACCA).
  • Experience working in a busy, fast-paced accountancy practice.
  • Exceptional knowledge of corporate and business tax.
  • Strong knowledge of trusts, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and pensions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • IT literate with experience using relevant accountancy software.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Collaborative, professional, and proactive nature.
